Hey. How's it going. My name is Bryan Berg, and this is my Blog/LiveJournal sort of thing. Will it be useful to you? Probably not. Will it be useful to me? Who knows. I sure as heck don't. It's got potential, though.
It's 1:11 AM. That's according to my computer, who often lies to me. My Batman watch claims that the time is 1:19 AM. My cell phone agrees. Every clock in my house seems to be different, though. Anyway, I'm not here to talk about time. I'm here to talk about ME. So what did I do today, you ask? Not much. I went to breakfast with Samantha, which was a lot of fun. Then, I went home for a bit to suck at Hot Shots Golf 3 for PS2, after which I went to Thursday Baseball. Thursday Baseball has been on the decline this summer, and we're all really pissed about it. So I got there at 2, and evidently it started at 1. There had been a miscommunication of some sort. Nevertheless, at 3 these fat kids decided they were hungry and left to go eat McDonalds and probably a few surrounding stores. 2 others followed them. This meant, of course, game over. Damn fat kids. You eat lunch BEFORE you go to play baseball. After Thursday Baseball, we went to the mall for a bit, after which my Thursday Ritual continued. The Thursday Ritual begins with Thursday Baseball. After that, I take the Northern State (ugh) East to the 135 South to Exit 10 - Old Country Rd./Plainview/Hicksville. I hate Plainview. Of course, ShopRite is situated in Plainview, so that's where I go to pick up my paycheck every Thursday. After bitching about how small it is, I get it cashed and fraternize with the employees that I'm actually friends with. Once that's done, it's off to Jillian's on Rte. 110. At Jillian's on Rte. 110, I get $10 added onto my card so I can play the drum game a few times. The song catalog isn't too extensive anymore, sadly, so I'm always stuck playing Ratt and Living Colour. Nothing against them, but it gets old. So after that's all done, it's home for dinner and Smackdown. Smackdown was good tonight. Cory stopped by, which is rare for Thursdays because she hates wrestling. I gave her a Stitch doll (from Lilo and Stitch) for our anniversary tomorrow, and she loved it. I'm glad - the thing cost $16 before tax. That's about all I did today/tonight.
Shaun called me earlier on, and it's kinda funny. I got my new cell phone on Tuesday and it was charged by Tuesday night. By the early evening, the battery meter was already on its last bar. So Shaun and I talked for 28 minutes (the record for the new phone so far) and after that, the battery meter was STILL on its last bar. That's pretty cool, I think.
I guess that's all for now. It's bedtime so I can get up early, take the car to George's to get it checked out, to Jiffy Lube for an oil change, and whatever else it is I have to do before band practice at 3. We get our shirts tomorrow!!! Bye.
